Wealt is in the Playfair Female Founder Office Hours
The program was massively oversubscribed with more than 500 applications, but we’re delighted to share that we have been accepted to be part of the 10th cohort and edition of the initiative.
We're excited to be part of this journey and to share the mission of empowering women in tech. We look forward to learning, growing, and contributing to the collective journey of inspiring and empowering more women in tech.
What is Playfair FFOH?
Collaboration is Queen. At Playfair, their mission is all about collaboration. They understand the power of bringing people together to solve problems and create a stronger community. They also recognise that for entrepreneurship to truly benefit society, we need equal access to seed funding. Playfair is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by women founders in tech, and they're using the principle of collaboration to do it.
Female Founder Office Hours (FFOH), launched by the Playfair Capital team in 2019, is one of the largest diversity and inclusion initiatives in the venture world. They've already connected over 1,900 founders with over 180 investors, resulting in founders raising over £1.2 billion. It's a testament to the impact of their collaborative approach.
Playfair recognises that there's no one-size-fits-all solution to female tech founders' lack of funding and support and the challenges they face in accessing investors, especially outside of London. Their solution is based on four pillars:
- Access: No need for warm introductions.
- Remoteness: Geography is not a barrier.
- Collaboration: All investors, groups and initiatives work together.
- Founder-driven: Founders can seek advice, feedback, funding or introductions.#
